疾病無國界，防患未然！台大醫院雲林分院16日舉行MERS防疫演練，模擬從韓國返台男子出現發燒、咳嗽等上呼吸道症狀，確診為MERS後，醫護依SOP隔離診治。疾管局南區主任劉碧隆強調若遵守防護守則，雲林絕不會發生疫情。
演習模擬台大雲林分院接獲119救災救護指揮中心通報報，指一位剛從韓國首爾返台民眾，出現發燒、咳嗽與流鼻水等上呼吸道症狀，自行到診所就醫，經診所TOCC（旅行史、職業別、接觸史與群聚情形）問診，疑似感染MERS。
台大醫護獲報後著隔離衣就戰鬥位置，疑似病例未進入急診，而經醫護人員在發燒隔離站複診，確診後送往負壓隔離病床診治。整個流程與動線單獨切出，避免發生院內感染。
台大雲林分院長王崇禮說，防疫形同作戰，寧可養兵千日，備而不用，但不能毫無準備及預防。雲林縣長李進勇說，國內雖尚無確診病例，防疫不可大意。
